2 And it shall be, when you are near the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people,
3 And shall say to them, Hear, O Israel, you approach this day to battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, nor be terrified because of them;
4 For the LORD your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
5 And the officers shall speak to the people, saying, What man is there who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
9 And it shall be, when the officers have finished speaking to the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
10 When you go forth to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God has delivered them into your hands, and you have taken them captive,
19 When you besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy the trees by forcing an axe against them: for you may eat of them, and you shall not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege:
20 Only the trees which you know are not trees for food, you shall destroy and cut them down; and you shall build bulwarks against the city that makes war with you, until it is subdued.
5 And into whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon it: if not, it will return to you.
7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it: for in its peace you will have peace.
10 But when you cross over the Jordan and dwell in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to inherit, and when He gives you rest from all your enemies around you, so that you live in safety;
6 And thus shall you say to him who lives in prosperity, Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace to all that you have.
12 And when you come into a house, greet it.
13 And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?
32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends an envoy and desires conditions of peace.
7 Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you.
20 if it so happens that the king's wrath rises, and he says to you, Why did you approach so near to the city when you fought? Did you not know they would shoot from the wall?
15 And he said, Listen, all Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD to you: Do not be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.
16 Tomorrow go down against them. See, they come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the wilderness of Jeruel.
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.
7 I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
14 The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
9 And if you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.
18 And he said, Whether they come out for peace, take them alive; or whether they come out for war, take them alive.
9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, The kingdom of God has come near to you.
10 But into whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into the streets and say,
4 And when he who flees to one of those cities shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city and shall declare his case in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city to them and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
16 These are the things that you shall do; Speak every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
7 Then you shall rise up from the ambush and seize the city, for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand.
8 And it shall be, when you have taken the city, that you shall set the city on fire; according to the commandment of the LORD you shall do. See, I have commanded you.
9 Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
21 Acquaint yourself with Him now and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.
20 And Moses said to them, If you will do this thing, if you will go armed before the LORD to war,
10 And it shall be, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you great and good cities, which you did not build,
5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach the city, and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them.
15 You shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
19 To cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.
7 When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
