28Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, encamp against the city, and take it: unless I take the city, and it be called by my name.
5And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that you may do to them according to all the commandments which I have commanded you.
9And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said to him, Arise, go down to the army, for I have delivered it into your hand.

32Now therefore arise by night, you and the people with you, and lie in wait in the field.
33And it shall be that in the morning, as soon as the sun is up, you shall rise early and set upon the city; and behold, when he and the people that are with him come out against you, you may do to them as you find opportunity.
2And the LORD said to Joshua, See, I have given into your hand Jericho, and its king, and the mighty men of valor.
12And he took about five thousand men and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.
13And when they had set the people, even all the army that was on the north of the city, and their liers in wait on the west of the city, Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley.
14And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hurried and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he did not know that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.
21Behold, the LORD your God has set the land before you: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has told you; do not fear, neither be discouraged.
8And the LORD said to Joshua, Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.
10But if they say, 'Come up to us,' then we will go up, for the LORD has delivered them into our hand; and this will be a sign to us."
31For you shall pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it.
3Thus says the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it.

They know that we are hungry; therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
52And he shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls come down, in which you trusted, throughout all your land: and he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which the LORD your God has given you.
36From Aroer by the edge of the river Arnon, and from the city by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too strong for us; the LORD our God delivered all unto us.

7And he said to the people, Proceed, and surround the city, and let him who is armed go on before the ark of the LORD.
