From Aroer by the edge of the river Arnon, and from the city by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too strong for us; the LORD our God delivered all unto us.

7 But all the livestock and the spoil of the cities, we took as plunder for ourselves.
8 And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side of the Jordan, from the river Arnon to Mount Hermon;
10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt; and what you did unto the two kings of the Amorites, who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.
11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath.
12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half the mountain of Gilead, and its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
9 From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;
10 And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;

22 And they possessed all the borders of the Amorites, from Arnon even to Jabbok, and from the wilderness even to Jordan.

18 And the LORD drove out from before us all the people, even the Amorites who lived in the land: therefore we will also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
25 And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer that is before Rabbah;
24 Rise up, take your journey, and cross over the river Arnon; behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it and engage him in battle.

16 And their border was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
9 For the LORD has driven out from before you great and strong nations: but as for you, no one has been able to stand before you to this day.
19 For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan or beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on this side of the Jordan eastward.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun, shall be your territory.
26 While Israel lived in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that are along the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? Why did you not recover them within that time?
27 And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and its border, even to the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
28 And he said to them, Follow after me: for the LORD has delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and allowed not a man to pass over.
30 And the LORD delivered it and its king into the hand of Israel; he struck it with the edge of the sword, and all the people who were in it; he left none remaining in it, but did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.
