24 So the children entered and possessed the land; You subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the people of the land, so that they might do with them as they wished.
25 And they captured fortified cities and a fertile land, and took possession of houses full of all goods, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and became fat, and delighted themselves in Your great goodness.
9 And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them, for we have seen the land, and behold, it is very good; are you still? Do not be lazy to go and to enter to possess the land.
10 When you go, you shall come to a secure people and to a large land, for God has given it into your hands; a place where there is no lack of anything that is on the earth.
7 For the LORD your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil, and honey;
11 Therefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spoke to us, saying, Take provisions with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say to them, We are your servants: therefore now make a treaty with us.
15 You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, and brought forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promised them that they would go in to possess the land which You had sworn to give them.
7 Turn, and take your journey, and go to the mountain of the Amorites, and to all the places near there, in the plain, in the hills, and in the valley, and in the south, and by the sea, to the land of the Canaanites, and to Lebanon, to the great river, the river Euphrates.
8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendants after them.

7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.
9 And that you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
14 Moreover, you have not brought us into a land that flows with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up.
24 And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD has delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.
8 And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
39 Moreover your little ones, whom you said would be prey, and your children, who today have no knowledge of good and evil, they shall go in there; to them I will give it, and they shall possess it.
