And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, who were on the west side of Jordan, and all the kings of the Canaanites, who were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan before the children of Israel, until we had crossed over, that their hearts melted, and there was no spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

  • 13And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand in a heap.

  • 28And he said to them, Follow after me: for the LORD has delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and allowed not a man to pass over.

  • 15These are the ones who crossed over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all those in the valleys, to the east and to the west.
