9Therefore, keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.

22Take heed now that you fail not to do this: why should damage grow to the hurt of the kings?
31If any man trespass against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before your altar in this house:
2If a man makes a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
2The fear of a king is like the roaring of a lion; whoever provokes him to anger sins against his own soul.
11Discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you;
8Happy are your men, happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you, and hear your wisdom.
15And the king said to him, How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?
14The wrath of a king is as messengers of death, but a wise man will pacify it.
12Now therefore come, let me, I pray you, give you advice, that you may save your own life, and the life of your son Solomon.
