12Giving thanks unto the Father, who has made us qualified to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins:
4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
23And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
2Chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification by the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
14Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
13But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
9For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
13Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
4Knowing, beloved brothers, your election by God.
30But of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—

7That having been justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
