5For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sins, which were by the law, worked in our members to bear fruit to death.
10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
11Therefore, remember that you being in times past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
5Not in passionate lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God:
13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
22That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
24Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves,
4According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:
5Having predestined us to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;
8Which He has lavished on us in all wisdom and understanding;
6Let no one deceive you with empty words: for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.
21And you, who were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now he has reconciled
14As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance;
13Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the basic principles of the world:
7That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness;
12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;
11In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His own will:
19Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
12Therefore, brothers, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who commit such things.
