19 Who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you have not so learned Christ,
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
11 Therefore, remember that you being in times past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
14 That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive;
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power,
20 Which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come:
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
14 As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts in your ignorance;
21 And you, who were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now he has reconciled
22 That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made alive together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
10 To the intent that now to the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
15 That you may be blameless and harmless, children of God, without fault, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world;
4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
10 And you are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power:
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;
12 That you would walk worthy of God, who has called you to His kingdom and glory.
3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have done the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in sensuality, lusts, excess of wine, revelings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4 Wherein they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
6 As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
8 However, then, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the basic principles of the world:
18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
20 Therefore if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations,
2 And do not be conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
5 Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
8 Beware lest anyone spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the basic principles of the world, and not after Christ.
2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these mute idols, even as you were led.
