Then he said to me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief and give wicked counsel in this city:

9Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, What are you doing?
9And he said to me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
26For among my people are found wicked men: they lay in wait, as he who sets snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
2For their hearts plot destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
14Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

6You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.
7Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Your slain whom you have laid in its midst, they are the meat, and this city is the cauldron: but I will bring you forth out of its midst.
21The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9In you are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in you they eat on the mountains: in the midst of you they commit lewdness.
2Yet He also is wise, and will bring disaster, and will not call back His words: but will rise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of those who practice iniquity.
11By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
10Because, indeed, they have seduced my people, saying, 'Peace,' when there was no peace; and one builds up a wall, and others daub it with untempered mortar.
2Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own hearts, 'Hear the word of the LORD.'
27Her princes in its midst are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
21But as for those whose hearts follow the hearts of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, says the Lord GOD.
29The people of the land have used oppression, and committed robbery, and have wronged the poor and needy: yes, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
2Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

26Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor upon rumor; then shall they seek a vision from the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
