Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is in it, and whose scum has not gone out! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.

4Gather its pieces into it, every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe its bones in it.
1Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2Now, you son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Yes, you shall show her all her abominations.
3Then say, Thus says the Lord GOD, The city sheds blood in its midst, that her time may come, and makes idols against herself to defile herself.
4You have become guilty by the blood that you have shed, and have defiled yourself with your idols which you have made; and you have caused your days to draw near, and have come even to your years: therefore I have made you a reproach to the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.

7And the slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
3Who say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the cauldron, and we are the meat.
18You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore I will bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who behold you.
