17As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.
3Stay in this land, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for to you, and to your descendants, I will give all these countries, and I will fulfill the oath which I swore to Abraham your father;
4And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give to your descendants all these countries; and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
5And he brought him outside, and said, Look now toward heaven, and count the stars, if you are able to number them: and he said to him, So shall your offspring be.
18of whom it was said, 'In Isaac your seed shall be called,'
2Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
3And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the river, and led him through all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his descendants, and gave him Isaac.
17Arise, walk through the land in its length and in its breadth; for I will give it to you.
