9 That he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he owns, which is at the end of his field; for as much money as it is worth he shall give it to me for a possession of a burial place among you.
10 And Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth; and Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the hearing of the children of Heth, before all who went in at the gate of his city, saying,
11 No, my lord, hear me; I give you the field, and the cave that is in it, I give it to you; in the presence of the sons of my people I give it to you; bury your dead.
12 And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the land.
13 And he spoke to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land, saying, But if you will give it, I pray you, hear me; I will give you money for the field; take it from me, and I will bury my dead there.
14 And Ephron answered Abraham, saying to him,
15 My lord, listen to me; the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that between me and you? Therefore, bury your dead.
16 And Abraham listened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed out to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the hearing of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.
17 So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field and the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, which were within all its borders, were deeded
29 And he charged them, and said to them, I am to be gathered to my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,
30 In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah, which is before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burial place.
32 The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth.
9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;

16 And were carried over into Shechem, and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem.
24 except only what the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion."
8 And I will give to you, and to your descendants after you, the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
1 And the LORD appeared to him in the plains of Mamre, and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.
