2And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, your son Joseph comes to you: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed.
3And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph; does my father still live? And his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed at his presence.
4And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
4I will go down with you into Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph shall put his hand upon your eyes.
16And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Your father did command before he died, saying,

14And Joseph returned into Egypt, he, and his brothers, and all that went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.
27And he asked them about their welfare, and said, Is your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? Is he still alive?
21And you said to your servants, Bring him down to me, that I may set my eyes upon him.
