For in seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights; and every living thing that I have made will I destroy from the face of the earth.

5And Noah did according to all that the LORD commanded him.

1And the LORD said to Noah, "Go, you and all your household, into the ark; for I have seen you as righteous before Me in this generation."
2Of every clean animal, you shall take with you seven pairs, the male and his female; and of animals that are not clean, two, the male and his female.
3Of birds also of the air, seven pairs, the male and the female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth.
13And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
12And he waited another seven days, and sent forth the dove, which did not return to him anymore.
13And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.
14And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
15And God spoke to Noah, saying,
6And it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.
7And he sent forth a raven, which went back and forth until the waters were dried up from the earth.
1And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
2The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.
3And the waters receded continually from the earth, and after one hundred and fifty days the waters were diminished.
10And he waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
11And I will establish my covenant with you; never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.
15And I will remember my covenant which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look upon it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.
17Bring forth with you every living thing that is with you, of all flesh, birds, cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, so that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth.
5And did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
