For indeed, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah the support and the staff, the whole support of bread and the whole support of water,

13Son of man, when the land sins against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out my hand upon it and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it;
2Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; You have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one lives there,
3And say to the land of Israel, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.
1The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a heap of ruins.
17Gather up your wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
7Therefore now thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Why do you commit this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, out of Judah, to leave you no one to remain;
2Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, who shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
33Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be cut down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
2The Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob, and has not pitied: He has thrown down in His wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He has brought them down to the ground: He has defiled the kingdom and its princes.
25In that day, says the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in a sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD has spoken it.
26And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.
14Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
15The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within; he who is in the field shall die by the sword, and he who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
8Be instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from you; lest I make you desolate, a land not inhabited.
17All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
