For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength: but you would not.

11 For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in due measure, and will not leave you altogether unpunished.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
3 And it will come to pass in the day that the LORD gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage in which you were made to serve,

12 For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
17 But Israel shall be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation: you shall not be ashamed nor confounded forever and ever.

14 Fear not, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel; I will help you, says the LORD, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
29 You shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the Mighty One of Israel.
14 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles and the Chaldeans, whose shout is in the ships.
9 O Israel, you have destroyed yourself; but in me is your help.
17 Gather up your wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
16 Thus says the LORD, Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.
19 Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts.
14 And it will be as the hunted roe, and as a sheep that no man takes up: every man will turn to his own people, and everyone will flee to his own land.
18 Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
32 Not for your sakes do I this, says the Lord GOD, be it known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
