2And lay siege against it, build a fort against it, and throw up a ramp against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it all around.
3Moreover, take an iron pan and set it as a wall of iron between you and the city, and set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
10See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
38Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananel to the corner gate.

15Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations.
2For You have made a city a heap, a fortified city a ruin; a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be rebuilt.

17But I will deliver you that day, says the LORD, and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.
10And you have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses you have broken down to fortify the wall.
6I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never be silent day or night: you who remind the LORD, do not keep silent,
16Make mention to the nations; behold, proclaim against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and raise their voice against the cities of Judah.
9And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I provide to it.
4For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself, and to all your friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
17Gather up your wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
6For thus says the LORD to the house of the king of Judah; You are Gilead to me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make you a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.
3And I said to them, Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun is hot; and while they are standing by, let them shut and bar the doors: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one opposite his house.
