Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, says thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the farmer to mourning, and such as are skilled in lamentation to wailing.

24 His servants, therefore, took him out of that chariot and put him in the second chariot that he had, and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died and was buried in one of the sepulchers of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.
25 And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah, and all the singing men and the singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day and made them an ordinance in Israel. And behold, they are written in the lamentations.
14 Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me for their trouble.
1 At that time, says the LORD, they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:
2 And they will spread them before the sun, the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, whom they have served, after whom they have walked, whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped. They will not be gathered nor buried; they will be dung upon the face of the earth.
3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the remnant of those that remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them, says the LORD of hosts.
17 But your eyes and your heart are set only on your covetousness, and on shedding innocent blood, and on oppression, and on violence, to do it.
20 You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers will never be renowned.
28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? Is he a vessel in which there is no pleasure? Why are they cast out, he and his descendants, and cast into a land which they know not?
29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
30 Thus says the LORD, Write this man childless, a man who shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his descendants shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling anymore in Judah.
16 Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to me: for I will not hear you.
12 But you should not have gazed on the day of your brother in the day of his calamity; nor should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; nor should you have spoken proudly in the day of distress.
30 And his servants carried him dead in a chariot from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, anointed him, and made him king in his father's place.
6 For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD. But behold, I will deliver every man into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand of his king. They shall strike the land, and I will not deliver them out of their hand.
5 For who shall have pity upon you, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan you? or who shall turn aside to ask how you are?
15 Those who survive him shall be buried in death, and his widows shall not weep.
5 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6 So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers, and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.
22 Speak, Thus says the LORD, 'Even the carcasses of men shall fall as dung on the open field, and as the handful after the harvester, and no one shall gather them.'
2 Judah mourns, and its gates languish; they are in mourning on the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem has gone up.
21 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that you die not by our hand:
22 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
16 Know that thus says the LORD concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, and all the people who dwell in this city, and your brethren who have not gone out with you into captivity;
11 Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.

14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, says the LORD: I will have no pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;
