4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding.
20 I have sinned; what shall I do unto you, O preserver of men? Why have you set me as a mark against you, so that I am a burden to myself?
21 And why do you not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now shall I sleep in the dust, and you shall seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.
22 You lift me up to the wind; You cause me to ride upon it, and dissolve my substance.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue clings to my jaws; You have brought me into the dust of death.
3 You turn man to destruction; and say, Return, you children of men.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again into another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter? says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
14 For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.
