17What is man, that you should magnify him, and that you should set your heart upon him?
18And that you should visit him every morning, and test him every moment?
2Do you think this to be right, that you said, My righteousness is more than God's?
3For you said, What advantage will it be to you? and, What profit shall I have, if I am cleansed from my sin?
20I have sinned; what shall I do unto you, O preserver of men? Why have you set me as a mark against you, so that I am a burden to myself?
21And why do you not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now shall I sleep in the dust, and you shall seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.
23Who has ordered him his way? or who can say, You have done wrong?
17But you have fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on you.
3Why are we counted as beasts, and considered vile in your sight?
14If I sin, then You mark me, and You will not acquit me from my iniquity.
4Does He not see my ways, and count all my steps?
7There the righteous might dispute with him, so I would be delivered forever from my judge.
13Oh that You would hide me in the grave, that You would keep me secret, until Your wrath is past, that You would appoint me a set time, and remember me!
19If I speak of strength, lo, He is mighty: and if of judgment, who shall set a time for me to plead?
21For His eyes are upon the ways of man, and He sees all his goings.
