32 That which I do not see, teach me; if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
1 Then Job answered and said,
2 I know this is true: but how can a man be righteous before God?
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.
9 Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand and cut me off!
10 Then I should still have comfort; yes, I would harden myself in sorrow. Let him not spare, for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread and mixed my drink with weeping,

2 Even today my complaint is bitter; my suffering is heavier than my groaning.
19 Surely, after I was turned, I repented; and after I was instructed, I struck my thigh: I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, because I bore the reproach of my youth.
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!
1 Then Job answered and said,
10 When I wept and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
2 And Job spoke, and said,
29 He puts his mouth in the dust, there may yet be hope.
5 For Job has said, I am righteous; and God has taken away my justice.
6 And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to You, my God, for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass has grown up to the heavens.
3 And I set my face toward the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes:
31 Then you shall remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done this evil in your sight, that you may be justified when you speak and be clear when you judge.
5 Then I said, Woe is me, for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
1 Then Job answered and said,
21 Though I were perfect, yet I would not know my soul: I would despise my life.
28 I am afraid of all my sorrows; I know that You will not hold me innocent.
6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
3 Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
1 I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of His wrath.
