19Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
10Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of your hand.

9I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me; he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
3The plowers plowed upon my back; they made long their furrows.
15What shall I say? He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
20I have sinned; what shall I do unto you, O preserver of men? Why have you set me as a mark against you, so that I am a burden to myself?
17Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty:
20Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my heart is troubled; my heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaves, at home there is as death.
21They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have done it: you will bring the day that you have promised, and they shall be like me.
15If I am wicked, woe to me; and if I am righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see my affliction;
19He has cast me into the mire, and I have become like dust and ashes.
6He has made me also a byword of the people; and in the past I was like a tambourine.
7My eye also is dim because of sorrow, and all my members are like a shadow.
6But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.
3So I am made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.
35"They have struck me," you shall say, "and I was not hurt; they have beaten me, and I did not feel it; when shall I awake, I will seek it yet again."
20Why is light given to him who is in misery, and life to the bitter in soul;
9He has enclosed my ways with hewn stone; He has made my paths crooked.
7Your wrath lies hard upon me, and you have afflicted me with all your waves. Selah.
18The LORD has chastened me severely, but He has not given me over to death.
15I have sewn sackcloth upon my skin and defiled my horn in the dust.
7I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities;
8He has fenced up my way so that I cannot pass, and He has set darkness in my paths.
1Many times have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
71It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.
4As for me, is my complaint to a man? And if it were, why should my spirit not be troubled?
15He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drunk with wormwood.
19He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain;
3When His lamp shone upon my head, and by His light I walked through darkness;
31Surely it is proper to say to God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend anymore;
67Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word.
21Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O you my friends, for the hand of God has touched me.
1O LORD, do not rebuke me in your wrath, nor chasten me in your hot displeasure.
