12And Manoah said, Now let your words come to pass. How shall we raise the child, and what shall we do for him?
13And the angel of the LORD said to Manoah, Of all that I said to the woman let her beware.
24And you said, Behold, the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does talk with man, and he lives.
25Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.
26For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
12And the children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone.
13Whoever comes near the tabernacle of the LORD must die: will we all be consumed with dying?
20And he said, You cannot see my face: for no man shall see me, and live.
2And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had no children.
3And the angel of the LORD appeared to the woman, and said to her, Behold now, you are barren and have no children: but you shall conceive and bear a son.
9And she said to her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us continually.
19Then they said to Moses, 'You speak with us and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.’
30And Israel said to Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen your face, because you are still alive.
