And Micah said to him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of clothing, and your food. So the Levite went in.

18And these went into Micah's house and took the carved image, the ephod, the teraphim, and the molten image. Then the priest said to them, What are you doing?

5And the man Micah had a house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
13And they passed from there to Mount Ephraim and came to the house of Micah.
14Then the five men who went to spy out the country of Laish said to their brethren, Do you know that there are in these houses an ephod and teraphim and a carved image and a molten image? Now, therefore, consider what you should do.
15And they turned aside there and came to the house of the young man, the Levite, to the house of Micah, and greeted him.
9Therefore Levi has no part nor inheritance with his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, just as the LORD your God promised him.
27And the Levite that is within your gates; you shall not forsake him; for he has no part nor inheritance with you.
37And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all kinds of trees, of wine and of oil, to the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
38And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
36And it shall come to pass, that everyone who is left in your house shall come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Please put me into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
10And He has brought you near to Him, and all your brethren the sons of Levi with you: and do you seek the priesthood also?
12I said to them, If it seems good to you, give me my wages, and if not, refrain. So they weighed out my wages, thirty pieces of silver.
13The LORD said to me, 'Throw it to the potter—that princely price they set on me.' So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
6And if a Levite comes from any of your towns out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and comes with all the desire of his mind to the place which the LORD shall choose;
7Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, who stand there before the LORD.
21And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
6And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel; to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
2And your brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, bring with you, that they may be joined to you and minister to you: but you and your sons with you shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
9And, as I may say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham.
18He said to him, "We are traveling from Bethlehem in Judah toward the side of Mount Ephraim. I am from there, and I went to Bethlehem in Judah, but now I am going to the house of the LORD, and there is no one who receives me into their house.
8But if he is poorer than your estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.
29And the Levite, (because he has no part nor inheritance with you,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
24And he said, You have taken away my gods which I made and the priest, and you have gone away; what more do I have? And how can you say to me, What troubles you?
27And they took what Micah had made, and the priest he had, and came to Laish, to a people quiet and secure, and struck them with the edge of the sword, and burned the city with fire.
5And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brothers, though they come from the loins of Abraham:
15Then he said to him, Come home with me, and eat bread.
17Then certain of the elders of the land rose up and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,
3And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give to the priest the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the stomach.
28He said, "Set your wages, and I will give it."
6Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, so that they may serve him.
11And you shall rejoice in every good thing which the LORD your God has given to you, and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
20And the old man said, "Peace be with you; however, let all your needs lie upon me; only do not lodge in the street."
15Also, before they burned the fat, the priest's servant would come and say to the man who sacrificed, Give meat to roast for the priest, for he will not take boiled meat from you, but raw.
