He said to him, "We are traveling from Bethlehem in Judah toward the side of Mount Ephraim. I am from there, and I went to Bethlehem in Judah, but now I am going to the house of the LORD, and there is no one who receives me into their house.

Look, the day ends; lodge here, that your heart may be merry. Tomorrow go early on your way that you may go home."

    17When he lifted up his eyes, he saw a traveler in the street of the city, and the old man said, "Where are you going? And where do you come from?"
