13 But if you say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,
14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
38 but you shall go to my father's house and to my kindred, and take a wife for my son.'
39 And I said to my master, 'Perhaps the woman will not follow me.'
3 And the LORD said to Jacob, Return to the land of your fathers, and to your kindred; and I will be with you.
6 And Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?
38 And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he alone is left: if harm befalls him on the journey in which you go, then you will bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
17 Please let us pass through your country. We will not pass through fields or vineyards, nor will we drink water from wells; we will go along the King's Highway; we will not turn aside to the right hand or to the left until we have passed through your territories."
18 But Edom said to him, "You shall not pass through my land, lest I come out against you with the sword."
5 And the servant said to him, "Perhaps the woman will not be willing to follow me to this land. Must I take your son back to the land from which you came?"
10 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
16 And it shall be, if he says to you, 'I will not go away from you,' because he loves you and your house, because he is well with you;
9 Is not the whole land before you? separate yourself, I pray you, from me: if you will take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if you depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left.
42 And the LORD said to me, Tell them, Do not go up or fight, because I am not among you; lest you be defeated before your enemies.
4 And the LORD said to him, This is the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to your descendants: I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.
12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: who said, We will not come up.

18 He said to him, "We are traveling from Bethlehem in Judah toward the side of Mount Ephraim. I am from there, and I went to Bethlehem in Judah, but now I am going to the house of the LORD, and there is no one who receives me into their house.
8 And if the woman is not willing to follow you, then you will be released from this oath; only do not take my son back there."
