    3And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it to you.

    4Yet he restored the money to his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a carved image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.

    5And the man Micah had a house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.

    14Then the five men who went to spy out the country of Laish said to their brethren, Do you know that there are in these houses an ephod and teraphim and a carved image and a molten image? Now, therefore, consider what you should do.

  • 11And he said, A certain man had two sons:

  • 1In those days, when there was no king in Israel, there was a certain Levite staying on the side of Mount Ephraim, who took for himself a concubine from Bethlehem in Judah.

  • 15They turned aside there to go in to lodge in Gibeah, and when he went in, he sat down in a street of the city, for there was no one who took them into his house to lodge.
