19And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them: I ask you to have me excused.
20And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
21So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, and the crippled, and the lame, and the blind.
22And the servant said, Lord, it is done as you have commanded, and yet there is room.
23And the lord said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24For I say to you, That none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper.
35On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.
36Now, which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?

7But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say to him immediately when he comes in from the field, Go and sit down to eat?

9And I say to you, Make friends for yourselves using the wealth of unrighteousness; that, when you fail, they may receive you into everlasting dwellings.
33Therefore the disciples said to one another, Has anyone brought him anything to eat?
3Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself, when you have come into the hand of your friend; go, humble yourself, and make sure your friend.
9And he who invited you and him come and say to you, Give this man your place; and you begin with shame to take the lowest place.
10But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place; that when he who invited you comes, he may say to you, Friend, go up higher: then you will have honor in the presence of those who sit at the table with you.
15Then he said to him, Come home with me, and eat bread.
32The stranger did not lodge in the street, but I opened my doors to the traveler.
36Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.
13But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do you no wrong: did you not agree with me for a penny?
11And you shall say to the owner of the house, The Master says to you, Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?
17And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room to store my crops?
11And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Please, bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.
3Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my master is taking away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; I am ashamed to beg.
4I have resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
5So he called every one of his master's debtors to him, and said to the first, How much do you owe my master?
35And he said to them, When I sent you without money bag, and knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything? And they said, Nothing.

25When once the master of the house has arisen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us; and he will answer and say to you, I do not know you, where you are from:
12He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.
16And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the pigs ate: and no one gave him anything.
17And when he came to himself, he said, How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough to spare, and I perish with hunger!
