    15 So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.

    16 And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they realized that this work was done by our God.

    17 Moreover, in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah, and the letters of Tobiah came to them.

  • 21 Then I warned them, and said to them, Why do you spend the night around the wall? If you do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time on they came no more on the Sabbath.

  • 1 Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity were building the temple to the LORD God of Israel,

  • 15 Then I went up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the valley gate, and so returned.
