16 For behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those who are cut off, nor seek the young, nor heal the broken, nor feed what stands still. But he will eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their hooves in pieces.

11 For as the belt clings to the waist of a man, so have I caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to me, says the LORD; that they might be to me a people, and a name, and a praise, and a glory: but they would not hear.

7 Then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for My name, I will cast out of My sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

16 Moreover, son of man, take one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in your hand.
14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found among its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the pit.
19 Say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, says the LORD: I will have no pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.

6 For it is from Israel; the workman made it, and it is not God. But the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
