Thus says the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, each with his staff in his hand because of great age.

3Thus says the LORD; I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts, the holy mountain.
11And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
16Therefore thus says the LORD: I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy; My house shall be built in it, says the LORD of hosts, and a measuring line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.
17Proclaim again, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion, and will again choose Jerusalem.
4And said to him, 'Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls because of the multitude of people and cattle in it.'
11But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days, says the LORD of hosts.
23Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; They shall still say this word in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
24And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all its cities together, farmers, and those who go forth with flocks.
4But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and none shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.
12Thus says the LORD of hosts: Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall be a habitation for shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
15So again have I thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear not.
1Behold, the day of the LORD comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you.
2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women violated; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
4Moreover you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD; Shall they fall and not rise? Shall he turn away and not return?
8In that day the LORD shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them in that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
10Thus says the LORD: Again there shall be heard in this place, which you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
12Both young men and maidens, old men and children;
3And it shall come to pass, that he who is left in Zion, and he who remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.
7And I will make the lame a remnant, and the outcast a strong nation, and the LORD shall reign over them in Mount Zion from now on, even forever.
8And you, O tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, to you it shall come, even the former dominion. The kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
1For indeed, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, takes away from Jerusalem and from Judah the support and the staff, the whole support of bread and the whole support of water,
2The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the wise, and the elder,
13Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
22Yet, behold, in it shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come to you, and you shall see their way and their deeds: and you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
4And they shall build the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
26Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, says the LORD of hosts.
25Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain forever.

10Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, says the LORD.

4For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are torn down by the battering rams and by the sword:
2And many nations shall come and say, 'Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths.' For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
8Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
10The elders of the daughter of Zion sit on the ground, and keep silence: they have thrown dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.
13And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall seize everyone on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
21Yes, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
21The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men have fallen by the sword; You have slain them in the day of Your anger; You have killed, and not pitied.
18And the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
