32You will see trouble in my dwelling place! Israel will experience blessings, but there will not be an old man in your house for all time.
33Any man of yours that I do not cut off from my altar, I will cause his eyes to fail and will cause him grief. All of those born to your family will die by the sword of man.
35Once and for all I have vowed by my own holiness, I will never deceive David.

12Because they used to minister to them before their idols, and became a sinful obstacle to the house of Israel, consequently I have made a vow concerning them, declares the Sovereign LORD, that they will be responsible for their sin.
12However, for your father David’s sake I will not do this while you are alive. I will tear it away from your son’s hand instead.
17The sin of these young men was very great in the LORD’s sight, for they treated the LORD’s offering with contempt.
21So now swear to me in the LORD’s name that you will not kill my descendants after me or destroy my name from the house of my father.”
40I will bring on you lasting shame and lasting disgrace which will never be forgotten!’”
39I will humiliate David’s descendants because of this, but not forever.”
7At that time the brother will shout,‘I am no doctor, I have no food or coat in my house; don’t make me a leader of the people!’”
8I am not condemning you because of your sacrifices, or because of your burnt sacrifices that you continually offer me.
4“I will send it out,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,“and it will enter the house of the thief and of the person who swears falsely in my name. It will land in the middle of his house and destroy both timber and stones.”
