2For in this earthly house we groan, because we desire to put on our heavenly dwelling,

7So in all our distress and affliction, we were reassured about you, brothers and sisters, through your faith.

7An Eternal Weight of Glory But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us.
8We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair;
9we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed,
15Live Wisely Therefore consider carefully how you live– not as unwise but as wise,
24I do not mean that we rule over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy, because by faith you stand firm.
16So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.
7You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should reflect on this again: Just as he himself belongs to Christ, so too do we.
