26 The Spies’ Reports They came back to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community of the Israelites in the wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They reported to the whole community and showed the fruit of the land.
27 They told Moses,“We went to the land where you sent us. It is indeed flowing with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
19 Then we left Horeb and passed through all that immense, forbidding wilderness that you saw on the way to the Amorite hill country as the LORD our God had commanded us to do, finally arriving at Kadesh Barnea.

When they arrive in Gibeah of Benjamin they will punish them for the atrocity which they committed in Israel.”

16 The Response of God The LORD said to Moses,“Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know are elders of the people and officials over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting; let them take their position there with you.
41 Unsuccessful Conquest of Canaan Then you responded to me and admitted,“We have sinned against the LORD. We will now go up and fight as the LORD our God has told us to do.” So you each put on your battle gear and prepared to go up to the hill country.

23 And when he sent you from Kadesh-Barnea and told you,“Go up and possess the land I have given you,” you rebelled against the LORD your God and would neither believe nor obey him.
4 “Number the people from twenty years old and upward, just as the LORD commanded Moses and the Israelites who went out from the land of Egypt.”
