32I am determined to do so because the people of Israel and Judah have made me angry with all their wickedness– they, their kings, their officials, their priests, their prophets, and especially the people of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem have done this wickedness.
19But I am not really the one being troubled!” says the LORD.“Rather they are bringing trouble on themselves to their own shame!
18The LORD’s Response Then the LORD became zealous for his land; he had compassion on his people.
5therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Surely I have spoken in the fire of my zeal against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who with great joy and utter contempt have made my land their property and prey, because of its pasture.’
6“Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys,‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look, I have spoken in my zeal and in my anger, because you have endured the insults of the nations.
15With furious anger I will carry out vengeance on the nations that do not obey me.”
17At that time my anger will erupt against them and I will abandon them and hide my face from them until they are devoured. Many disasters and distresses will overcome them so that they will say at that time,‘Have not these disasters overcome us because our God is not among us?’
18But I will certainly hide myself at that time because of all the wickedness they will have done by turning to other gods.

15But I am greatly displeased with the nations that take my grace for granted. I was a little displeased with them, but they have only made things worse for themselves.
8They have quickly turned aside from the way that I commanded them– they have made for themselves a molten calf and have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and said,‘These are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt.’”
9Then the LORD said to Moses:“I have seen this people. Look what a stiff-necked people they are!
10So now, leave me alone so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them, and I will make from you a great nation.”
25I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in rage. They will cut off your nose and your ears, and your survivors will die by the sword. They will seize your sons and daughters, and your survivors will be consumed by fire.

20A Divine Decision The LORD was furious with Israel. He said,“This nation has violated the terms of the covenant I made with their ancestors by disobeying me.
27But I fear the reaction of their enemies, for their adversaries would misunderstand and say,“Our power is great, and the LORD has not done all this!”’
28They are a nation devoid of wisdom, and there is no understanding among them.
31I will pour out my anger on you; the fire of my fury I will blow on you. I will hand you over to brutal men, who are skilled in destruction.
31So I have poured my anger on them, and destroyed them with the fire of my fury. I hereby repay them for what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD.”
28So the LORD has uprooted them from their land in anger, wrath, and great rage and has deported them to another land, as is clear today.”

8But they rebelled against me, and refused to listen to me; no one got rid of their detestable idols, nor did they abandon the idols of Egypt. Then I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
18even when they made a cast image of a calf for themselves and said,‘This is your God who brought you up from Egypt,’ or when they committed atrocious blasphemies.
21When the LORD heard this, he was furious. A fire broke out against Jacob, and his anger flared up against Israel,
11They burned incense on all the high places just like the nations whom the LORD had driven away from before them. Their evil practices made the LORD angry.
15for the LORD your God, who is present among you, is a jealous God and his anger will erupt against you and remove you from the land.

3These people continually and blatantly offend me as they sacrifice in their sacred orchards and burn incense on brick altars.
17My God will reject them, for they have not obeyed him; so they will be fugitives among the nations.
8That is what will result from your making me angry by what you are doing. You are making me angry by sacrificing to other gods here in the land of Egypt where you live. You will be destroyed for doing that! You will become an example used in curses and an object of ridicule among all the nations of the earth.
14For you must not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
5How long will this go on, O LORD? Will you stay angry forever? How long will your rage burn like fire?
14“I will make you desolate and an object of scorn among the nations around you, in the sight of everyone who passes by.
21“‘But the children rebelled against me, did not follow my statutes, did not observe my regulations by carrying them out(the one who obeys them will live by them), and desecrated my Sabbaths. I decided to pour out my rage on them and fully vent my anger against them in the wilderness.
