8For the LORD has planned a day of revenge, a time when he will repay Edom for her hostility toward Zion.

13You must not pity him, but purge out the blood of the innocent from Israel, so that it may go well with you.
30For we know the one who said,“Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” and again,“The Lord will judge his people.”
5so I may see the prosperity of your chosen ones, rejoice along with your nation, and boast along with the people who belong to you.
6I trampled nations in my anger, I made them drunk in my rage, I splashed their blood on the ground.”
7A Prayer for Divine Intervention I will tell of the faithful acts of the LORD, of the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the LORD did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel, because of his compassion and great faithfulness.
21And who is like your people, Israel, a unique nation in the earth? Their God went to claim a nation for himself! You made a name for yourself by doing great and awesome deeds when you drove out nations before your people whom you had delivered from the Egyptian empire and its gods.

14But Ephraim bitterly provoked him to anger; so he will hold him accountable for the blood he has shed, his Lord will repay him for the contempt he has shown.

6I wish the deliverance of Israel would come from Zion! When God restores the well-being of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be happy!
