6Then Moses said,“This is what the LORD has commanded you to do so that the glory of the LORD may appear to you.”
30The next day Moses said to the people,“You have committed a very serious sin, but now I will go up to the LORD– perhaps I can make atonement on behalf of your sin.”
31So Moses returned to the LORD and said,“Alas, this people has committed a very serious sin, and they have made for themselves gods of gold.
52When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD.

8So Moses took the blood and splashed it on the people and said,“This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
9Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up,
4When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him from within the bush and said,“Moses, Moses!” And Moses said,“Here I am.”
5God said,“Do not approach any closer! Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
1The Lord Ratifies the Covenant But to Moses the LORD said,“Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from a distance.
30So Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD,
25But Moses said,“Will you also provide us with sacrifices and burnt offerings that we may present them to the LORD our God?
11So Moses did as the LORD commanded him– this is what he did.
7So Moses came and summoned the elders of Israel. He set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him,
29When the sacrifices were completed, the king and all who were with him bowed down and worshiped.
29Moses said to him,“When I leave the city I will spread my hands to the LORD, the thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that the earth belongs to the LORD.
11But Moses sought the favor of the LORD his God and said,“O LORD, why does your anger burn against your people, whom you have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?
16Then Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you!
1Now Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.
5For the LORD had said to Moses,“Tell the Israelites,‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I went up among you for a moment, I might destroy you. Now take off your ornaments, that I may know what I should do to you.’”
3When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and the LORD’s splendor over the temple, they got on their knees with their faces downward toward the pavement. They worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying,“Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!”
19When he approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses became extremely angry. He threw the tablets from his hands and broke them to pieces at the bottom of the mountain.
27then you will say,‘It is the sacrifice of the LORD’s Passover, when he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt, when he struck Egypt and delivered our households.’” The people bowed down low to the ground,
34But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he would remove the veil until he came out. Then he would come out and tell the Israelites what he had been commanded.
13Moses said to the LORD,“When the Egyptians hear it– for you brought up this people by your power from among them–
18And Moses said,“Show me your glory.”
25Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“Go, sacrifice to your God within the land.”
26But Moses said,“That would not be the right thing to do, for the sacrifices we make to the LORD our God would be an abomination to the Egyptians. If we make sacrifices that are an abomination to the Egyptians right before their eyes, will they not stone us?
44The LORD spoke to Moses:
18even when they made a cast image of a calf for themselves and said,‘This is your God who brought you up from Egypt,’ or when they committed atrocious blasphemies.
