    26When a righteous person turns back from his righteousness and practices wrongdoing, he will die for it; because of the wrongdoing he has done, he will die.

  • 9Listen to this, you leaders of the family of Jacob, you rulers of the nation of Israel! You hate justice and pervert all that is right.

  • 3and say to them,‘This is what the LORD says: Look, I am against you. I will draw my sword from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.

  • 9He said to me,“The sin of the house of Israel and Judah is extremely great; the land is full of murder, and the city is full of corruption, for they say,‘The LORD has abandoned the land, and the LORD does not see!’

  • 30“Therefore say to the house of Israel,‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Will you defile yourselves like your fathers and engage in prostitution with detestable idols?

  • 4“Are you willing to pronounce judgment on them? Are you willing to pronounce judgment, son of man? Then confront them with the abominable practices of their fathers,

  • 20“‘Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says to them: Look, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

  • 13But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness; they did not follow my statutes and they rejected my regulations(the one who obeys them will live by them), and they utterly desecrated my Sabbaths. So I decided to pour out my rage on them in the wilderness and destroy them.

  • 14Suppose I say to the wicked,‘You must certainly die,’ but he turns from his sin and does what is just and right.

  • 3The LORD of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel says: Change the way you have been living and do what is right. If you do, I will allow you to continue to live in this land.

  • 10I, the LORD, probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done.
