    17You also took your beautiful jewelry, made of my gold and my silver I had given to you, and made for yourself male images and engaged in prostitution with them.

    23“‘After all of your evil–“Woe! Woe to you!” declares the Sovereign LORD–

    58You must bear your punishment for your obscene conduct and your abominable practices, declares the LORD.

  • 35“‘Therefore O prostitute, Listen to the LORD’s message:

  • 47Have you not copied their behavior and practiced their abominable deeds? In a short time you became even more depraved in all your conduct than they were!

  • 26No one will use any of your stones as a cornerstone. No one will use any of them in the foundation of his house. For you will lie desolate forever,” says the LORD.

  • 30And you, Zion, city doomed to destruction, you accomplish nothing by wearing a beautiful dress, decking yourself out in jewels of gold, and putting on eye shadow! You are making yourself beautiful for nothing. Your lovers spurn you. They want to kill you.
