You will be called,‘the LORD’s priests, servants of our God.’ You will enjoy the wealth of nations and boast about the riches you receive from them.

  • 1The Sacrilege of the Priestly Message“Now, you priests, this commandment is for you.

  • 11In that day you will not be ashamed of all your rebelliousness against me, for then I will remove from your midst those who proudly boast, and you will never again be arrogant on my holy hill.

  • 5At that time the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will become a beautiful crown and a splendid diadem for the remnant of his people.

  • 6“I, the LORD, officially commission you; I take hold of your hand. I protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, and a light to the nations,

  • 16You will be profaned within yourself in the sight of the nations; then you will know that I am the LORD.’”

  • 19The sun will no longer supply light for you by day, nor will the moon’s brightness shine on you; the LORD will be your permanent source of light– the splendor of your God will shine upon you.

  • 5As a young man marries a young woman, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over a bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

  • 11Her leaders take bribes when they decide legal cases, her priests proclaim rulings for profit, and her prophets read omens for pay. Yet they claim to trust the LORD and say,“The LORD is among us. Disaster will not overtake us!”

  • 8Then your light will shine like the sunrise; your restoration will quickly arrive; your godly behavior will go before you, and the LORD’s splendor will be your rear guard.
