    18Then three days after I had my baby, this woman also had a baby. We were alone; there was no one else in the house except the two of us.

  • 2He said,“Here, my lords, please turn aside to your servant’s house. Stay the night and wash your feet. Then you can be on your way early in the morning.”“No,” they replied,“we’ll spend the night in the town square.”

  • 18Then the king replied to the woman,“Don’t hide any information from me when I question you.” The woman said,“Let my lord the king speak!”

  • 1Now Jericho was shut tightly because of the Israelites. No one was allowed to leave or enter.
