If you violate the covenantal laws of the LORD your God which he commanded you to keep, and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, the LORD will be very angry with you and you will disappear quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”

  • 8At Horeb you provoked him and he was angry enough with you to destroy you.

  • 7I brought you into a fertile land so you could enjoy its fruits and its rich bounty. But when you entered my land, you defiled it; you made the land I call my own loathsome to me.

  • 15But if you don’t obey the LORD and rebel against what the LORD says, the hand of the LORD will be against both you and your king.
