10You build Zion through bloody crimes, Jerusalem through unjust violence.
8Jerusalem certainly stumbles, Judah falls, for their words and their actions offend the LORD; they rebel against his royal authority.
5So I will set Judah on fire, and it will consume Jerusalem’s fortresses.”

17For though I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, planted you in the land, I now decree that disaster will come on you because the nations of Israel and Judah have done evil and have made me angry by offering sacrifices to the god Baal.”
5O Samaria, he has rejected your calf idol! My anger burns against them! They will not survive much longer without being punished, even though they are Israelites!
