26Remove Aaron’s priestly garments and put them on Eleazar his son, and Aaron will be gathered to his ancestors and will die there.”
27So Moses did as the LORD commanded; and they went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community.
28And Moses removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar. So Aaron died there on the top of the mountain. And Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.
29When all the community saw that Aaron was dead, the whole house of Israel mourned for Aaron thirty days.
14Then the LORD became angry with Moses, and he said,“What about your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that he can speak very well. Moreover, he is coming to meet you, and when he sees you he will be glad in his heart.
14For in the wilderness of Zin when the community rebelled against me, you rebelled against my command to show me as holy before their eyes over the water– the water of Meribah in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.”

1So the LORD said to Moses,“See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

1The Day of Atonement The LORD spoke to Moses after the death of Aaron’s two sons when they approached the presence of the LORD and died,

15But as for you, you will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age.

42When the community assembled against Moses and Aaron, they turned toward the tent of meeting– and the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.

12The Lord’s Judgment Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron,“Because you did not trust me enough to show me as holy before the Israelites, therefore you will not bring this community into the land I have given them.”
10The Memorial The LORD said to Moses,“Bring Aaron’s staff back before the testimony to be preserved for a sign to the rebels, so that you may bring their murmurings to an end before me, that they will not die.”
20Duties of the Levites The LORD spoke to Aaron,“You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any portion of property among them– I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.
10As Aaron spoke to the whole community of the Israelites and they looked toward the wilderness, there the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud,
7Moses then said to Aaron,“Approach the altar and make your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement on behalf of yourself and on behalf of the people; and also make the people’s offering and make atonement on behalf of them just as the LORD has commanded.”
24The LORD said to him,“Go, get down, and come up, and Aaron with you, but do not let the priests and the people force their way through to come up to the LORD, lest he break through against them.”
