3My defence to those who examine me in this;

17for if willing I do this, I have a reward; and if unwillingly -- with a stewardship I have been entrusted!
18What, then, is my reward? -- that proclaiming good news, without charge I shall make the good news of the Christ, not to abuse my authority in the good news;
19for being free from all men, to all men I made myself servant, that the more I might gain;
7The things in presence do ye see? if any one hath trusted in himself to be Christ's, this let him reckon again from himself, that according as he is Christ's, so also we `are' Christ's;
8for even if also anything more abundantly I shall boast concerning our authority, that the Lord gave us for building up, and not for casting you down, I shall not be ashamed;
9that I may not seem as if I would terrify you through the letters,
2our letter ye are, having been written in our hearts, known and read by all men,
8for He who did work with Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, did work also in me in regard to the nations,
7in regard to which I was set a preacher and apostle -- truth I say in Christ, I do not lie -- a teacher of nations, in faith and truth.
10for now men do I persuade, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if yet men I did please -- Christ's servant I should not be.
11And I make known to you, brethren, the good news that were proclaimed by me, that it is not according to man,
9for God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the good news of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you,
8Wherefore, having in Christ much boldness to command thee that which is fit --
12Become as I `am' -- because I also `am' as ye brethren, I beseech you; to me ye did no hurt,
7according as it is righteous for me to think this in behalf of you all, because of my having you in the heart, both in my bonds, and `in' the defence and confirmation of the good news, all of you being fellow-partakers with me of grace.

23And this I do because of the good news, that a fellow-partaker of it I may become;
4for when one may say, `I, indeed, am of Paul;' and another, `I -- of Apollos;' are ye not fleshly?
5Who, then, is Paul, and who Apollos, but ministrants through whom ye did believe, and to each as the Lord gave?
17and the other out of love, having known that for defence of the good news I am set:
16Again I say, may no one think me to be a fool; and if otherwise, even as a fool receive me, that I also a little may boast.
12and I say this, that each one of you saith, `I, indeed, am of Paul' -- `and I of Apollos,' -- `and I of Cephas,' -- `and I of Christ.'
13whom I did wish to retain to myself, that in thy behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the good news,
13For to you I speak -- to the nations -- inasmuch as I am indeed an apostle of nations, my ministration I do glorify;
12And I give thanks to him who enabled me -- Christ Jesus our Lord -- that he did reckon me stedfast, having put `me' to the ministration,
30the same conflict having, such as ye saw in me, and now hear of in me.
3since a proof ye seek of the Christ speaking in me, who to you is not infirm, but is powerful in you,
15what then was your happiness? for I testify to you, that if possible, your eyes having plucked out, ye would have given to me;
6And from those who were esteemed to be something -- whatever they were then, it maketh no difference to me -- the face of man God accepteth not, for -- to me those esteemed did add nothing,
15Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the saints,
10The truth of Christ is in me, because this boasting shall not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia;
