17for if willing I do this, I have a reward; and if unwillingly -- with a stewardship I have been entrusted!
18What, then, is my reward? -- that proclaiming good news, without charge I shall make the good news of the Christ, not to abuse my authority in the good news;
8According to man do I speak these things? or doth not also the law say these things?
9for I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I did persecute the assembly of God,
16unto whom I answered, that it is not a custom of Romans to make a favour of any man to die, before that he who is accused may have the accusers face to face, and may receive place of defence in regard to the charge laid against `him'.
8he making defence -- `Neither in regard to the law of the Jews, nor in regard to the temple, nor in regard to Caesar -- did I commit any sin.'

2`Concerning all things of which I am accused by Jews, king Agrippa, I have thought myself happy, being about to make a defence before thee to-day,
3especially knowing thee to be acquainted with all things -- both customs and questions -- among Jews; wherefore, I beseech thee, patiently to hear me.
4`The manner of my life then, indeed, from youth -- which from the beginning was among my nation, in Jerusalem -- know do all the Jews,
9that I may not seem as if I would terrify you through the letters,
5for I reckon that I have been nothing behind the very chiefest apostles,
11for if indeed I am unrighteous, and anything worthy of death have done, I deprecate not to die; and if there is none of the things of which these accuse me, no one is able to make a favour of me to them; to Caesar I appeal!'
13nor are they able to prove against me the things concerning which they now accuse me.
29Who is infirm, and I am not infirm? who is stumbled, and I am not fired;
30if to boast it behoveth `me', of the things of my infirmity I will boast;
17and the other out of love, having known that for defence of the good news I am set:
10And Paul answered -- the governor having beckoned to him to speak -- `Knowing `that' for many years thou hast been a judge to this nation, the more cheerfully the things concerning myself I do answer;
30the same conflict having, such as ye saw in me, and now hear of in me.
9not because we have not authority, but that ourselves a pattern we might give to you, to imitate us;

10for now men do I persuade, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if yet men I did please -- Christ's servant I should not be.
3since a proof ye seek of the Christ speaking in me, who to you is not infirm, but is powerful in you,
15and the Lord God sanctify in your hearts. And `be' ready always for defence to every one who is asking of you an account concerning the hope that `is' in you, with meekness and fear;
15Whom, though I were righteous, I answer not, For my judgment I make supplication.
10And thou -- thou hast followed after my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, endurance,
12and what I do, I also will do, that I may cut off the occasion of those wishing an occasion, that in that which they boast they may be found according as we also;
13for what is there in which ye were inferior to the rest of the assemblies, except that I myself was not a burden to you? forgive me this injustice!
16Again I say, may no one think me to be a fool; and if otherwise, even as a fool receive me, that I also a little may boast.
16in my first defence no one stood with me, but all forsook me, (may it not be reckoned to them!)
23And this I do because of the good news, that a fellow-partaker of it I may become;
1For, indeed, concerning the ministration that `is' for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you,
11to which I was placed a preacher and an apostle, and a teacher of nations,
21why me dost thou question? question those having heard what I spake to them; lo, these have known what I said.'

19and the Jews having spoken against `it', I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar -- not as having anything to accuse my nation of;
15as to wise men I speak -- judge ye what I say:
10The truth of Christ is in me, because this boasting shall not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia;
11I have become a fool -- boasting; ye -- ye did compel me; for I ought by you to have been commended, for in nothing was I behind the very chiefest apostles -- even if I am nothing.
