7become not, then, partakers with them,
14and if bitter zeal ye have, and rivalry in your heart, glory not, nor lie against the truth;
15this wisdom is not descending from above, but earthly, physical, demon-like,
16for where zeal and rivalry `are', there is insurrection and every evil matter;
3for we were once -- also we -- thoughtless, disobedient, led astray, serving desires and pleasures manifold, in malice and envy living, odious -- hating one another;
15and if one another ye do bite and devour, see -- that ye may not by one another be consumed.
16And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete;
17for the flesh doth desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that ye may will -- these ye may not do;
26let us not become vain-glorious -- one another provoking, one another envying!
10whoremongers, sodomites, men-stealers, liars, perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that to sound doctrine is adverse,
2for men shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, evil-speakers, to parents disobedient, unthankful, unkind,
3without natural affection, implacable, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, not lovers of those who are good,
4traitors, heady, lofty, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,
5having a form of piety, and its power having denied; and from these be turning away,
10and not certainly with the whoremongers of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, seeing ye ought then to go forth out of the world --
11and now, I did write to you not to keep company with `him', if any one, being named a brother, may be a whoremonger, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner -- with such a one not even to eat together;
3for sufficient to us `is' the past time of life the will of the nations to have wrought, having walked in lasciviousnesses, desires, excesses of wines, revelings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,
4in which they think it strange -- your not running with them to the same excess of dissoluteness, speaking evil,
20`no,' but that the things that the nations sacrifice -- they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not wish you to come into the fellowship of the demons.
19for out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, whoredoms, thefts, false witnessings, evil speakings:
31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil-speaking, be put away from you, with all malice,
3for yet ye are fleshly, for where `there is' among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not fleshly, and in the manner of men do walk?
3and whoredom, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints;
14Wherefore, my beloved, flee from the idolatry;
19for it behoveth sects also to be among you, that those approved may become manifest among you;
5Do ye think that emptily the Writing saith, `To envy earnestly desireth the spirit that did dwell in us,'
20but to write to them to abstain from the pollutions of the idols, and the whoredom, and the strangled thing; and the blood;
17And I call upon you, brethren, to mark those who the divisions and the stumbling-blocks, contrary to the teaching that ye did learn, are causing, and turn ye away from them;
13as in day-time, let us walk becomingly; not in revellings and drunkennesses, not in chamberings and lasciviousnesses, not in strife and emulation;
10there is not found in thee one causing his son and his daughter to pass over into fire, a user of divinations, an observer of clouds, and an enchanter, and a sorcerer,
