5and ye have forgotten the exhortation that doth speak fully with you as with sons, `My son, be not despising chastening of the Lord, nor be faint, being reproved by Him,
6for whom the Lord doth love He doth chasten, and He scourgeth every son whom He receiveth;'
11Cast me not forth from Thy presence, And Thy Holy Spirit take not from me.
16`O Lord, according to all Thy righteous acts, let turn back, I pray Thee, Thine anger and Thy fury from Thy city Jerusalem, Thy holy mount, for by our sins, and by the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Thy people `are' for a reproach to all our neighbours;
5The righteous doth beat me `in' kindness. And doth reprove me, Oil of the head my head disalloweth not, For still my prayer `is' about their vexations.
10From Thine indignation and Thy wrath, For Thou hast lifted me up, And dost cast me down.
9Favour me, O Jehovah, for distress `is' to me, Mine eye, my soul, and my body Have become old by provocation.
20See, O Jehovah, for distress `is' to me, My bowels have been troubled, Turned hath been my heart in my midst, For I have greatly provoked, From without bereaved hath the sword, In the house `it is' as death.
12For these dost Thou refrain Thyself, Jehovah? Thou art silent, and dost afflict us very sore!'
5Till when, O Jehovah? art Thou angry for ever? Thy jealousy doth burn as fire.
6Pour Thy fury on the nations who have not known Thee, And on kingdoms that have not called in Thy name.
11For Thy name's sake O Jehovah, Thou dost quicken me, In Thy righteousness, Thou bringest out from distress my soul,
4Jehovah, God of Hosts, till when? Thou hast burned against the prayer of Thy people.
21Thy hand put far off from me, And Thy terror let not terrify me.
9Be not wroth, O Jehovah, very sore, Nor for ever remember iniquity, Lo, look attentively, we beseech Thee, Thy people `are' we all.
14And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof `is' every morning.
4Turn back `to' us, O God of our salvation, And make void Thine anger with us.
5To the age art Thou angry against us? Dost Thou draw out Thine anger To generation and generation?
