9holding -- according to the teaching -- to the stedfast word, that he may be able also to exhort in the sound teaching, and the gainsayers to convict;
10but -- which becometh women professing godly piety -- through good works.
13this testimony is true; for which cause convict them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,
14not giving heed to Jewish fables and commands of men, turning themselves away from the truth;
7and these things charge, that they may be blameless;
14And thou -- be remaining in the things which thou didst learn and wast entrusted with, having known from whom thou didst learn,
10therefore, then, as we have opportunity, may we work the good to all, and especially unto those of the household of the faith.
3for this `is' right and acceptable before God our Saviour,
11and thou, O man of God, these things flee, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness;
12be striving the good strife of the faith, be laying hold on the life age-during, to which also thou wast called, and didst profess the right profession before many witnesses.
14These things remind `them' of, testifying fully before the Lord -- not to strive about words to nothing profitable, but to the subversion of those hearing;
15be diligent to present thyself approved to God -- a workman irreproachable, rightly dividing the word of the truth;
17that the man of God may be fitted -- for every good work having been completed.
2and the things that thou didst hear from me through many witnesses, these things be committing to stedfast men, who shall be sufficient also others to teach;
7to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, do seek glory, and honour, and incorruptibility -- life age-during;
12Wherefore, I will not be careless always to remind you concerning these things, though, having known them, and having been established in the present truth,
18for he who in these things is serving the Christ, `is' acceptable to God and approved of men.
19So, then, the things of peace may we pursue, and the things of building up one another;
4nor to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, that cause questions rather than the building up of God that is in faith: --
1Remind them to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rule, unto every good work to be ready,
16God they profess to know, and in the works they deny `Him', being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work disapproved.
5Beloved, faithfully dost thou do whatever thou mayest work to the brethren and to the strangers,
21providing right things, not only before the Lord, but also before men;
8and God `is' able all grace to cause to abound to you, that in every thing always all sufficiency having, ye may abound to every good work,
1And thou -- be speaking what doth become the sound teaching;
2aged men to be temperate, grave, sober, sound in the faith, in the love, in the endurance;
9and we are persuaded, concerning you, beloved, the things that are better, and accompanying salvation, though even thus we speak,
6that the fellowship of thy faith may become working in the full knowledge of every good thing that `is' in you toward Christ Jesus;
12teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, soberly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age,
13The pattern hold thou of sound words, which from me thou didst hear, in faith and love that `is' in Christ Jesus;
6so that we exhorted Titus, that, according as he did begin before, so also he may finish to you also this favour,
10to your walking worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, in every good work being fruitful, and increasing to the knowledge of God,
18This charge I commit to thee, child Timotheus, according to the prophesies that went before upon thee, that thou mayest war in them the good warfare,
6having been confident of this very thing, that He who did begin in you a good work, will perform `it' till a day of Jesus Christ,
14What `is' the profit, my brethren, if faith, any one may speak of having, and works he may not have? is that faith able to save him?
